From the "when will one of these ever come to market again" files, up for grabs is the ever-elusive 1998 Yield Virgin Megastore Pearl Jam promo poster designed and signed by artists Ron Donovan and Chuck Sperry of Firehouse. These were a promotional giveaway celebrating the release of one of Pearl Jam's greatest albums Yield back in 1998. There were only 2000 of these ever made and not all of them were signed. A lot were destroyed, lost or simply thrown away over the years. Those that survived tend to have heavy damage, staining, rips/tears, pin holes, tape residue etc.
This has ZERO of that. It is on a thicker stock and was acquired from the original owner who used to manage a Virgin Megastore back in the 90's. It has been stored flat over the years and the minor damage is pictured but will be described now.The upper right corner is creased but unless held in the perfect light, cannot be seen from the front. (It is more visible from the back which if framed, no one will ever see again). The other damage is on the "Pearl Jam" banner emblazoned along the center.
Both the right and left edges have creasing and edge wear due to it being a die cut and those edges protruding out have proved hard to maintain their protection over the years. Now to the elephant in the room. Now I have to throw Binaural on the old turntable. The thicker stock combined with its history of being stored flat must remain constant. It's too delicate and special an item.
I've taken as many pictures as I think necessary, but if you would like to see more, just shoot me a message. Also, before it gets asked it is NOT attached to anything. It's not dry mounted. The white background is a large white poster board to help the viewer to see the item better.
